Most people visit Sun Valley for the amazing skiing, but us locals know that summer is where it is at! You just can’t beat the beautiful weather, live music, great trails and endless events! Here are some of the must-attend events happening this summer!
Sun Valley Brew Fest
Enjoy some of the finest craft beers in North America! This event is FREE but a $30 donation buys you unlimited beer samples and a souvenir pint glass!! Lear more about the event here.
Sun Valley Wellness Festival
This event will be held June 29-July 2 at the Community School. The four-day conference will feature top welness experts presenting workshops about the body, mind, spirit, and environment. There will also be movement classes, a Wellness Experience Hall, and music!
Ballet
The International Ballet returns to Sun Valley July 17 and 18 at 7:30 PM. There will be 23 internationally acclaimed dancer and two different repertoire programs created by Isabella Boylston. This will be a stunning production not to miss!
Sun Valley Wine Auction
Who doesn’t love a good wine auction?! This is the community’s largest fundraising event and has been happening for 32 years! This four day event will allow you to sample incredible wines from around the world as well as try high-quality meals prepared by amazing chefs! This event will support The Center’s art and humanities programs.
The Mill SC Backcountry Run
If you are in to running, July 14 will be an amazing single track trail run in Ketchum! This is a race not for the faint of heart! It will be a tough course through Adams Gulch and Fox Creek trails having a total vertical of 3,570 feet!!!
Galena Grinder
This is a 4.0 Mountain Bike race. XC Race is Cat 1 or expert 25 miles , Cat 2 or sport 20 miles or Cat 3 or beginner 10.5 miles. 10 am start time. If you want to do a longer distance, the Marathon is 40 miles. This race will take place on the Galena Lodge trail system and is a mix of single track and forest service road. There will be plenty of climbs and even more great views!
