Distinctive Angels Tear Down Swiftsure Ranch

Another Great Valley Event We Support!

                                     

This month's Distinctive Angels project was helping 'tear down' all the decorations from the Swiftsure Ranch fundraising Cowboy Ball. Our gang showed up bright and early to find the fairytale setting not quite as magical in the daylight. We worked at folding miles of cords and twinkling-light curtains; moved tables and chairs; and helped the caterers reload their glassware. While the sound crew removed the stage and lighting, we took out nearly everything else, transforming the beautiful dining room back into a riding arena! 

But the real magic is the work that Swiftsure Ranch performs every day. The therapeutic riding program helps children and adults and you can feel the dedication from the workers just being there. The following is taken from their website, discussing their philosophy:
