640-acre mountain hunting property north of Cedaredge is bordered by BLM and National Forest lands, and controls access to much more acreage. The terrain is mostly pinyon-juniper forest, which provides excellent bedding cover for the numerous elk in the area, as well as an 18-acre irrigated food plot planted in grain and alfalfa. A small stream runs through the property and provides early irrigation water. Historically this property has produced excellent bull elk scoring over 300 B&C, with the ability to take several bulls a year in Colorado GMU 411. It also produces quite a few landowner mule deer tags, which are often hard to come by!
